Kein Weltgemälde – keine Wirklichkeit – keine Zeit – kein Leben
– keine Liebe – keine Freude – keine Trauer – keine Zukunft
Und was kommt danach?
Death is the end of my world-painting.
Erased, rubbed out,
bursting
like a soap bubble.
All stories, images, information, thoughts, fantasies, wishes—
EVERYTHING GONE.
An apocalypse, the end of reality,
the end of time.
My brain is my workshop, my studio.
There, I paint my world-painting.
There lies reality.
There, I exist.
In death, the workshop—the studio—is destroyed, and with it my
world-painting, reality, and
ME.
In the end, there is total loss
DEATH.
No world-painting—no reality—no time—no life
—no love—no joy—no sorrow—no future.
There is no future beyond death
no matter how colorful a world-painting was,
no matter how many stories, pieces of information, and knowledge it held,
no matter what a world-painting created or achieved,
no matter what a world-painting left behind,
no matter what stories are told about it in other world-paintings.
In the end, nothing remains of any world-painting.
And what comes after?
Like all stories about the future, they are merely stories—stories within
my world-painting.
The question of the "after" holds meaning only within reality,
within the world-painting.
In the world itself, there is no "after,"
for there is no time.
